John Poore

Treasurer

 

John Poore is Celebration Church Treasurer and the head of Audio/Video Ministries Operations. John’s background and training is in film and television production, having received a BA from Montana State University in 1972.

John joined Lowell Lundstrom Ministries on April 16, 1973 as their Sound Man and Radio Show Editor. Over the years he has helped produce the Lundstrom weekly TV shows and Lowell Live radio show, custom built the power distribution system for the Impact America Tent, and loaded gear in and out of venues all over the US and Canada plus Mexico City and Monterey Mexico, and Kaneohe Oahu, Hawaii.

 

  

 

 

John enjoys watching movies on his 7.1 channel home theatre because of no cell phones or yakking viewers. He also looks forward to riding the Empire Builder Amtrak to Montana to visit his 5 brothers and sisters two times a year. Trains were imprinted on his brain at the age of 2 when he lived in Cut Bank, Montana; a half block away from the Great Northern Main line where steam engines still hauled many trains to and from Seattle, Washington.

John has been quoted many times sharing, “The one thing that has kept me going on the road for so many years is what happened every night at crusades and rallies around 9:15pm as more souls where added to the kingdom of God. It made all the hard work and even the few glitches of traveling on the bus so closely (notably the “Rhinestone Cowboy” played over and over on the bus 8 track player incident) worth it! ”
